Brew Method

  1. Heat water to just off-boil, about 207 F
  2. Rinse filter if needed and discard the used water
  3. Add ground coffee and gently settle the coffee bed
  4. Pour water to twice the weight of the ground coffee, about 45 grams (1.5 oz)
  5. Stop pouring and wait, allowing the coffee to “bloom” and degas
  6. At 0:45 slowly pour remaining water over the coffee bed
  7. Experiment with multiple pours, or one continuous pour
  8. Let all the water drain from the coffee bed
