Brew Method

  1. Heat water to just off-boil, about 207 F
  2. Add ground coffee to the press
  3. Pour one-third of the water, ensuring all coffee grounds are saturated
  4. Wait until 0:30, then swirl the press to release gases
  5. Pour remaining water in a rapid, controlled manner focused on the center
  6. Brew until 4:00, then break the top coffee crust
  7. Wait until 5:00 (or longer), allowing the coffee grounds to settle
  8. Affix the plunger and gently plunge
  9. Pour carefully to keep coffee grounds settled in the press
